Share your Breast Cancer Story #Hero #WWEMOMS

I don’t think any of us can say we have not been affected by breast cancer. Years ago, when my grandmother was going through treatments, I thought it was only something one got as they got older. Today, I can name too many women in their thirties and forties who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, many have been treated and are successful breast cancer survivors, but some are still fighting the battle. None of us are immune to the effects of this horrible disease. I bet we all know and love at least one person who has fought or is fighting the battle.

WWE is always fighting the battle with us.  This includes its partnership with Susan G. Komen® and it’s more than $1.5M commitment since 2012 to Komen’s mission of ending breast cancer forever.

Share Your Breast Cancer Story Survivor Contest

Komen and WWE are hosting a contest to honor three breast cancer survivors who are doing more in the fight against breast cancer through the Share Your Story Survivor Essay Contest. These three survivors will win an ultimate WWE fan experience at SummerSlam 2016 and will be featured in WWE and Komen public service announcements that may air on TV, online, in WWE venues and on the WWE Network in October 2016.

From May 5 – 27, 2016, breast cancer survivors or their loved ones can enter themselves or someone who has battled this disease. Winners will be announced in late June 2016.  To see more details, rules, and how to enter, click here.
