Was EXERCISE one of your Resolutions? #XSport #Massapequa

2016 is a week old today.  It is hard to believe it is almost mid-January already!  We’ve finally seen winter this week, and the holidays are very much behind us.  The holiday snacks have left the house, and Operation Health 2016 is well underway at our house.

We’ve resolved not to make any New Year’s Resolutions this year.  Actually, there are things we very much need to do and want to do, but we thought it would be silly to call them New Year’s Resolutions.  Why?  Well, a week into the New year and a quarter of people who make resolutions statistically have already given up.  And we are not going to give up!

If weight loss and exercise are part of your 2016 plan, we want to share XSport with you!  We are members of XSport Massapequa, and we are very happy there!  We’ll be sharing our progress along with you as we go along, but in the meantime, here are some details:

XSport offers quality educational programs, state-of-the-art equipment, certified personal trainers, plus a professional staff committed to help members reach their goals.  Back in November we started researching local gyms.  About a month ago, I requested my FREE 7 DAY PASS and was sold immediately upon walking into the gym.  It was immaculate, warm and inviting, and the first thing I saw was the lap pool and hot tub.  When I toured the facility with the kids, they were immediately sold on the child’s play area.  And I loved learning I could watch them on the machine TVs while they played.

  • Pay as you go, no long term obligation
  • Group Fitness Classes
  • Membership includes a FREE Personal Training session
  • COMPLIMENTARY locker and towels
  • Child’s Play Area with closed-circuit TV monitors so that you can watch your child at play while you work out
  • Memberships start as low as $9.95 a month, which excludes group exercise and other amenities.
  • So much more including lap pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, full service spa (and new members get a free mini massage and 20% off spa services!).  The spa has massage, hair care, nail care, tanning, facials, waxing and the complete details can be seen here.

We took the $33 a month package which entitles us to so much as members.  Although we have yet to participate in any of the classes, I’ve sat in on a few and they look amazing.  Paul and I are very much looking forward to one morning next week (we’d have to do it when the kids are not in the child’s play because they’d be too jealous) taking a dip in the jacuzzi after our workout.  And we are each enjoying our personalized training with Tristan.  Paul has been going twice a  week and I just got my free session.  I will be hooking up again with him next week.

We enjoyed protein shakes on the way out yesterday.  I had the Vanilla Strawberry shake and Paul had the Chocolate Banana shake.  It lists calories and the staff can give you other information right at the check-in.  They were delicious and kept us full for hours.  The locker rooms are superb, there are ample free towels, and we love the machines.  My daughter will be joining us in a few weeks (memberships begin at age 14) and she cannot wait til she can get on the state of the art basketball court!  We’re all in this together in our house!

Are you ready to join XSport?  Be sure to ask for Pete Marchelos, Sales Manager, and tell Pete that Jen and Paul from Massapequa Family sent you!  I know you will be pleased!

PSST!  For my Bronx friends who have followed me on MassaepquaFamily.com, XSPORT IS COMING TO BAY PLAZA IN THE SPRING!!!
