Shrimp Primavera : Stop & Shop’s shrimp primavera is an easy dish that will get you from the kitchen to table in less than an hour. To spice things up this Valentine’s Day add in cayenne pepper or hot sauce.

Ingredients

• 1 Tbsp Stop & Shop canola or olive oil

• 1 Tbsp fresh garlic, crushed

• 1 medium yellow onion, cut into 1-inch pieces

• 1 large green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

• 14 oz. Stop & Shop can diced tomatoes

• 6 oz. can Stop & Shop tomato paste, mixed w/ 1 cup water

• ½ tsp dried basil

• ¼ tsp dry oregano

• 1 dash cayenne pepper or hot sauce

• 1 dash black pepper

• 1 lb fully cooked Stop & Shop shrimp, peeled

• 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

• 12 oz. Stop & Shop pasta (spaghetti, linguine or small shells)

Steps

Heat the oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and onion and cook one minute. Add green pepper and sauté until tender-crisp, about 2 minutes. Add tomatoes, tomato paste and seasonings. Stir well and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook pasta according to directions. When pasta is almost done, add cooked and peeled shrimp to the sauce just to heat through but do not overcook. Squeeze lemon juice and stir in. Ladle shrimp and sauce over pasta.
