Heart Healthy Recipes from Campbell’s

As a counselor/behavioral coach, I often work with clients from around the country who have recently experienced a cardiac event.  Most of us think that cardiac events are something we don’t need to worry about until we are ‘much older’, however, I am seeing firsthand that that is definitely far from the truth.  I recognize that everything we do on a daily basis contributes to our heart health, and I am making a conscious effort to instill healthy heart habits in my children from their very young ages.

“American Heart Association Certified Heart Healthy Recipes”

Campbell’s Turkey Meatloaf: this is one I plan to try this week. I have mentioned incorporating more ground turkey into our diet and limiting our ground beef to my family for the longest time, and I am ALWAYS met with funny faces. This recipe looks so good, I think I can get the family to eat it without the faces!

Broccoli Cheddar Rice:
This recipe is one I know my husband will LOVE. It looks SO good.

Slow Cooked Chicken and Butternut Squash: Slow cooked AND healthy? What’s better than that? In our busy house, I love using the slow cooker!

Creamy Chicken & Vegetables over Spaghetti Squash: LOOKS SO YUMMY!

Pizza Primavera with Cauliflower Crust: Gotta try this… need a good alternative to the traditional pizza crust!
