Our trip to see SPIDER-MAN: Turn Off The Dark

Last Saturday, we took the kids into the city for a family trip to see Spider-Man on Broadway, thanks to NY Metro Parents. They were excited from early that morning when the three boys decided they would all wear their Spider-Man shirts. They got even more excited when we told them we were hopping on the LIRR instead of driving in.

When we got into the theater, the kids were so happy to to be there. They were so anxious to see the show!
I have to admit, I am not a fan of superheroes and comic books, but seeing Spider-Man fly through the air was such a thrill. We had orchestra seats that were about 20 rows from the stage, so all the flying was done right above our heads. When Spider-Man and the Green Goblet fought above us, it was spectacular. Definitely my favorite part of the show, and certainly the kids’ favorite as well.
