Our last hurrah of the summer! #TravelForReal @Loews_Hotels #FamilyForward

Thursday morning, bright and early, our family will be boarding a plane to head down to sunny Orlando Florida for a #travelforreal Family Forward adventure to Universal Studios!  We are staying at Loews Royal Pacific Resort for a blogger/family action packed weekend! I don’t know who is more excited, the adults or the kids!  My children have never been to Universal, but my husband and I have, and we are so looking forward to the rides and the attractions and the behind the scenes at the movies and so much more!

We have been asked so many times lately how we travel so much as a family.  With our upcoming trip of a lifetime this week, this will mark 5 family vacations in the last 14 months...

Snobby Massapequa??

Scrolling through Facebook today, I happened to notice a few of my Massapequa friends shared an article on RoadSnacks about the 10 snobbiest places to live in New York.  I was expecting to see some of the Westchester towns listed on there, but to my surprise, Massapequa was listed as #4!

So yes, I had never heard of RoadSnacks before, so I searched around a bit, and see they do a lot of these types of ‘articles’,  including ‘most boring places to live’, ‘most redneck cities’, ‘drunkest places’ in different states.  Not exactly top journalism, but seems like a fun site to read up on when you have some free time (what IS free time anyway???)...

John Cena makes history with Make-A-Wish and WWE

Maybe I am partial because we are a WWE fan family, but these are truly good guys (and gals!)  And even though many may not like him, John Cena is still this Massapequa Mama’s favorite wrestler.  John is TRULY one of the good guys.  Even with a bashed nose (on the mend), he is still giving back.

Tomorrow, Make-A-Wish and WWE will celebrate WWE Superstar John Cena becoming the first celebrity in history to grant 500 wishes.

The event, which takes place tomorrow at 11 am at Dave & Buster’s Times Square, will feature appearances by WWE Superstar John Cena, WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, Make-A-Wish America CEO David Williams, WWE Superstar Sheamus, WWE Divas The Bellas and wish children and their families.

You may not have known that WWE and its Superstars have been granting ...
